Sr-Pats roll on to a 5 - 0 record with the win over the Steelers which was as physical as they come. Looks like the Pats has lost Manning with a strain shoulder and re-injured his elbow. He has some numbness in the left hand. Marshall has a concussion and will be out this week. Lets keep them in our prayers.

It is very important that each player be at practice. We all know there are times when a player must miss, please be diligent in getting to practice. The heat is on and will be with us for a few more weeks. Moms and Dad, keep an eye on your players' intake of water. Your athlete will need lots of water after practice. Water or Gator Aid, and or Power Aid, will work best to replenish the fluids and electrolytes expended during practice and or games. Cokes and other soft-drinks will not supply his needs and hinder his conditioning efforts. The best indicator of hydration or lack of is to look in the toilet bowl. Urine too dark like apple juice is an indicator of de-hydration. It should look like lemon aid (light) NO heavy food before practice and or games. Fruits, breakfast bar or energy bars. Stay away from dairy foods/drinks, fried foods and fatty foods.
