Moms and Dad, keep an eye on your players' intake of water. Your athlete will need lots of water after practice. Water or Gator Aid will help to replenish the fluids used in practice. Cokes and other soft-drinks will not supply his needs. The best indicator of hydration or lack of is to look in the toilet bowl. Urine too dark like apple juice is an indicator of poor hydration. It should look like lemon aid (light) NO heavy food before practice and or games. Fruits, breakfast bar or energy bars. Stay away from dairy foods/drinks, fried foods and fatty foods. Your athlete
